Meaning

  • An open book is a person  or a subject that is easy to understand or easy to get to know.
  • If a person is an open book, that means they share everything about their life and they're easy to get to know.
  • If a subject is an open book, it's easy to learn or to know.

  • If you are talking about a subject or something is a closed book, that means it's difficult to understand or know.
