Meaning / Usage:

  • We use this phrase to introduce an idea or a fact that we don't like but that we can't change.

  • Used to say that someone must accept an unpleasant fact or situation

  • This phase is used to say that something is true and cannot be denied.

  • "Let's face it" is something that you say before you say something that is unpleasant but true.

For example, you have a friend and your friend wants to be an astronaut and you say, "Let's face it, NASA only employ people with science degrees."
